Pure Cacao & Strawberry & Coconut
BERRY GOOD
A super dark chocolate with an easy, ice cream-like melt. We make this bar with Tanzanian cacao from Kokoa Kamili, freeze dried strawberries, and shredded coconut and that's it! At 80% cacao, this bar is strong, bright and more tart than sweet.

If you like the idea of an unsweetened chocolate bar with bright bursts of strawberry coming through, then this is your bar! It's kind of about loving the chocolate and not the sugar. Very satisfying!
Pure Cacao & Strawberry & Coconut
Truly delicious. I really, really like the 100% Cacao unroasted dark chocolate, as, it has no sugar added. When a person fights Candida and to find such a delicious tasting chocolate is absolutely wonderful. Then, I was trying not to get hooked on the Pure Cacao & Strawberry and Coconut, yet, all 3 are my favorite taste, so, I am ever so grateful and thankful, to find myself a dessert treat. I love these 2 products.
This is so…strangely delicious
FYI: I’ve tasted 99% dark chocolate from other company several times, so I knew what kind of taste I should expect from a no-sugar chocolate product. The first bit was honestly not quite pleasant. While it smoothly melted in my mouth, it reminded me of some powdered medicine. However, it felt different from the second bit. dried strawberries brought refreshing flavor and their tartness went very well with the smooth bitterness of the chocolate. It is like a good coffee with some acidity. As the flavor of this chocolate is so unique and beautiful, I even set my coffee aside so that I can fully indulge in it. This is not a bar I can easily recommend to everybody (first of all, it is not sweet!). But if you are a person who loves black coffee with a fruity note and some acidity, you might enjoy this a lot. Oh please note it doesn’t really show a coconut flavor. I couldn’t catch it at all.
Uniquely delicious!!! this bar retrained my palate!
If you're not used to bars with less or no sugar, I recommend giving this bar a little time for your palate to adjust, for me it was a revelation :) This is sweetened only with strawberries, no added sugar, and when I first tried it I really wasn't so sure.... Then I kept going back to it, eating a tiny piece at a time, by the time I finished the bar I wanted another, and now it's maybe my all time favorite bar. So smooth, creamy and rich tasting, just enough sweetness from the strawberries, great, deep flavor... love this one! I had a similar experience with Raaka's Yacon root bar (no longer sold) - that one also I wasn't sure about at first, then it quickly became my favorite. Raaka works some kind of magic-alchemy with their sugar-free bars - I don't know how they do it but they are fantastic, always just sweet enough, and really just taste so clean and nourishing... I also don't know of any other chocolate company doing anything even remotely similar. Thanks all at Raaka!
Sour and bitter
I appreciate that this has no added sugar but it really tasted like underripe strawberries. I would describe it as more medicinal in taste without much of a chocolate bar flavor. I usually like dark chocolate and have enjoyed most of the other flavors from Raaka, but this was just too bitter for me and I'm struggling to finish the bar.
